1952年生于沈阳，1982年毕业于四川美院雕塑系，同年留校任教。中国美术家协会会员、中国雕塑学会会员、中国工艺美术学会雕塑委员会会员，教授，研究生导师，四川美术学院学术委员会委员，重庆市重点课程——《泥塑》建设组课题负责人，重庆市精品课程建设——《泥塑》课程负责人。 20余件雕塑作品先后入选由中华人民和国文化部，中国美术家协会组织的国家级及全国性美术作品展览，获优秀作品奖4次，获省级作品奖数次，中国美术馆、奥委会收藏作品2件，作品多次被收藏并多次在专业书籍、刊物上发表。十余篇论文在省级以上刊物登载。1999年中国美术家协会、中国美术出版总社、人民美术出版社联合出版“跨世纪中国美术家协会会员画库《孙闯雕塑作品精选》”。 Resume Sun Chuang, who was born in Shen Yang in 1952, graduated from the Sculpture Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. In the same year he became a teacher of the Institute. Now he is a member of Chinese Artists Association, a member of Chinese Sculpture Academy, a professor, and a tutor of the graduates. Twenty sculptural works of Sun Chuang have been selected to attend the national exhibitions organized by Chinese Ministry of Culture and Chinese Artists Association, 2 of them were collected by Chinese Art Museum and Chinese Olympic Committee. Sun Chuang won 4 excellent awards, and many provincial awards and his sculptural works have been shown in many international exhibitions as well as been collected and published in many professional books and magazines. Till now, Sun Chuang has published more than 10 pieces of papers in provincial and national publications. In 1999,Across centuries ,Chinese Artists Association members’ works collections——Selects of Sun Chuang’ s sculptural works was published by Chinese Artists Association, Chinese Arts Publish House and the People’s Arts Publish House.
